This approach directly puts at risk the rhythm and the linearity of gameplay, but The Evil Within and both groin skipped my way. Again, in all that suffers the most stories. There is some major, grand event to which the whole situation is moving. This is a lot of small, unexpected scenes that will keep you on the edge of the chair. The element of surprise plays the biggest role in this, because otherwise regular meetings with bosses through all fifteen chapters quickly bored. I soon learned that the chapters here absolutely do not mean anything to some of you put a lot of running and jump-scareova, on others and three boss when they least expect it. Same fights are also uneven. Some meetings will move from first without much passion and consumed arsenal, while the others simply have to die so that you figured out what to do.
But the bosses are not all that glitters. Resources and ammunition also glow in the dark and it is a sight that will make you most look forward to. I am very pleased that the game does not have the typical boss fountains as can be common in this genre, but you will quickly learn when you will meet with a variety of opponents and how to use it to their advantage. The whole game reloaded traps that can be used in various ways, allowing you to just dictate your style of play. Will you keep matches for carcasses or ignite a pool of gasoline on the floor and thus slow down the zombies? Will you disassemble the trap and make an arrow or you will incur a larger number of opponents into that trap?
On such decisions are based a large part of the game. There is a possibility of a stealth approach, but the opponents are too keen to rely on it. Besides bosses, most enemies do not vary much. They are all very well modeled, terrifying and unpredictable in its own way, and can even use a firearm, but you are all addressed in the same way. Fortunately, there is an upgrade of the system, which further deepens your personal choice and access situations. It can boost your physical ability to survive, which is a good idea, because shockingly easy to die. But also you can sacrifice a few seconds sprinting and boost your shotgun, pistol or any other weapon.
The use of weapons is satisfactory as it is difficult and very difficult. Castellanos shaking hands while moving, and the enemies do not stumble if they take off the head and burn them - the entire head. Because if someone you have not got the Kindle, it will rise again sooner or later and you will notice how often you use all the large space that is available for the fight and all your weapons a bit.
And I would say that this is the strongest link in The Evil Within. With all the surprises prepared, most stressful these direct for which you have a bit of themselves to blame. You're never sure of The Evil Within, but I am so sure that this would be a new cult classic if you had something interesting plot and characters, at least portray the protagonist if anything. Regardless, the game is worth playing for top atmosphere and a tense encounter that is still holding up at about ten years old roots.
